On top of this Future Private House concrete structure sits a light steel frame system, completed with an exterior insulation finishing system.
Due to the steep topography of the site, this future private house has two storeys on the eastern side, and just one on the western side.
This means that on the western side there is a relevant part of the structure buried.
This is achieved structurally by the use of a load bearing concrete frame, enabling the creation of the undergroud parking space.
The access entry slot of future private house is also framed by two concrete walls, that enable the transition between the entry level on the site and the actual first floor level.
The interiors of future private house are mainly built with the use of dry-lining systems, and solid woods and/or lacquered woods, for flooring and fitted furniture.
On this side of the building the existing ground level is higher, enabling a connection and continuity between interior and exterior.

Unique Apartment Building in Luxembourg
December 27, 2011 – 5:24 pm
This apartment is Located at Luxembour-City, Luxembourg . In this construction the use of a unique material, black shiny extruded metal, gives it its monolithic and sculptural character.
During the day, when the weather is nice, it delivers a warm and intense color, which, with its sharp corners,
creates a strong contrast with the absorbing materials of the neighboring buildings (such as the plaster of the facades).
On the first floor, a two-bedroom 80 sqm apartment is designed for a family of three.
Thus, the rooms are isolated at the back of the building in order to ensure intimacy and well-being. A open space, is oriented towards the road.
On the second floor, thanks to a 1m overhang on 3 sides of the building, we suggested building 2 studios, 47 and 48 sqm respectively.
These seem destined for young couples without children. Considering the narrowness of the apartments only the bathrooms are separated
by wall whereas the rest of the space is structured using furniture, assigning the different functions. On the third floor we come across a 115 sqm duplex apartment.
A sturdy all-glass ceiling ensure the sunshine to get through to the north-oriented kitchen and dining room.
Art emphasizes this formal game of the spaces that seem to have “slid” to give way to the organic sketches and eccentric colors created by the artist.
This cooperation puts forward the idea of the existence of equilibrium between the development of our building landscape and the artistic interpretation.

Lake Balaton Summer Villa, Hungary
December 25, 2011 – 3:01 pm
This sustainable summer villa Located at Lake Balaton, Hungary has a lot of custom-designed elements. The exterior wood-panel covers and the suspended ceiling continuing in the interior coverings, the in-built doors and wardrobes becoming part of the wood panel covered wall.
The custom-made fireplace has been engineered without prefabricated elements. Even the sliding shutters and the first store’s fix shading blades were designed exclusively for the project.
The house responds to the sustainable and environmental friendly questions with the solar-panel heated swimming pool, the special spaces and the high insulated structures.
This is the past. The above mentioned free plots are expensive and rare today. Our Owner of the plot has been very committed building a high quality modern villa for summer use.
We decided to blur the boundaries of outside and inside spaces at the ground level, as the plot is small like all plots in this area. The garden became part of the ground floor space.
The exterior stone pavement continues inside the villa separated with full story high glass walls. The living room and the terrace can be opened together with sliding doors, duplicating the living room size.
The summer villa sliding doors are facing the pool from the other side, connecting the water surface directly to the living area inside. The ground floor is totally transparent. The back wall is made from exposed concrete separating the close neighbor.
First floor of summer villa is the family zone. The 4 bedroom and the 2 bathroom is located in a symmetrical layout. These bedrooms are connected by the gallery, opening to a two story high space above the dining room.
The summer villa is situated on the South coast of Lake Balaton, the biggest lake of Central Europe. The lakeside is almost completely occupied by holiday houses.
There are no more or not too many free plots in the most popular areas of summer villa. The plot size and the neighborhood is disappointing even if you are lucky enough to find one. Lake Balaton used to be the only possibility for hungarians to have a holiday on the waterside.
Almost every family built a small house or just a bungalow in one of the holiday cities of the lake. People didn’t have too much money for construction and the result was usually a home made solution. Furniture, houses, streets became very eclectic.
The Summer Villa has Architected by FBI Studio architects. We have Photographs by Zsolt Batár, Antal Kiss.
